Join us for a special ceremony as we announce the winner of the 2023 Peter Porter Poetry Prize. There will be readings from the shortlisted poets before the overall winner is revealed.

Poets Lounge
Monthly on the the first Wednesday of the each month from December 2022 (excluding January)
Welcome to the Poets Lounge at Boyd Community Hub. Starting on 7 December and repeated on the first Wednesday of each month (excluding January). The series will feature themed readings – new poems and older ones – some Australian, some from abroad. It will be curated by Australian Book Review and hosted by ABR Editor Peter Rose. There will be an opportunity to chat with the Editor and the Community Animator at Boyd about your interest in poetry and to express an interest in reading at one of the sessions. First up will be poems about summer and Christmas. Come along and fall in love with poetry. Revel in some of the greatest literature ever written as it is brought alive during your lunchtime break.
