Kirsten Krauth

Kirsten Krauth’s writing spans fiction, nonfiction, poetry and criticism. She’s the author of two novels, just_a_girl (2013) and Almost a Mirror (2020), the latter shortlisted for the Penguin Literary Prize and SPN Book of the Year, and named in The Guardian’s ‘20 Best Australian Books of 2020’. The novel was also developed into a podcast and touring festival show with musicians. She is commissioning editor of the anthologies Into Your Arms: Nick Cave’s Songs Reimagined (2023) and Spinning Around: The Kylie Playlist (2024). Her poem ‘Pencils From Heaven’ came runner-up in the Blake Poetry Prize and she is currently working on her first book of poetry.
