Jason M. Gibson

Jason M. Gibson is an Australian anthropologist and historian. His book, Ceremony Men: Making Ethnography and the Return of the Strehlow Collections (SUNY., 2020), won the W.K. Hancock Prize and the Council of Museum Anthropology book prize (USA) and was nominated for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award in Australian History. He is a senior ARC Research Fellow and Lecturer in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies at Deakin University in Melbourne.
